Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 17, 2026

We at PersonifAI ("we," "us," "our") value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, use, sharing, and safeguarding of your data when you use our platform, website, and related services (collectively, "Services").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, that we collect automatically, and that we receive from third parties.

  • Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and username. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our third-party payment processors will collect your payment information.
  • User-Generated Content: We collect the content you create, upload, or generate while using our Services. This includes the personas you design, the workflows you build, the inputs you provide to simulations, and the text, audio, and images generated during those simulations ("User Content").
  • Usage and Technical Data: We automatically collect data about your interactions with our Services. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, pages visited, time spent on pages, and the actions you take within the platform.
  • Device Identifiers: We collect anonymous device identifiers for analytics and diagnostics purposes. These identifiers help us understand app performance and usage patterns without identifying you personally.
  • Biometric Authentication Data (Mobile App Only): If you enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock) in our mobile app, the biometric data itself is processed entirely on your device by your operating system. We never receive, store, or have access to your actual biometric data. We only receive a confirmation from your device that authentication was successful. Note: Biometric authentication is only available in the PersonifAI mobile app for iOS and Android. The web application does not use or collect any biometric data.
  • Communications Data: We collect information you provide when you contact us for customer support, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain Services: To create and manage your account, process subscriptions, and run the simulations and workflows you design.
  • To Improve Our Platform: To understand how users interact with our Services, allowing us to enhance functionality, improve the user experience, and develop new features.
  • For Research and Development: To train and refine our own proprietary AI models. [cite_start]The data used for this purpose is anonymized and aggregated to protect your privacy[cite: 154, 155].
  • To Communicate with You: To send you important service-related announcements, security alerts, and support messages. We may also send marketing communications, which you can opt-out of at any time.
  • For Security and Fraud Prevention: To monitor for and prevent malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
  • To Comply with Legal Obligations: To adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following parties under specific circumstances:

    [cite_start]
  • Third-Party AI Model Providers: Our platform orchestrates multiple best-in-class AI models[cite: 8, 49]. [cite_start]To run simulations, we send parts of your User Content (such as prompts and persona details) to these providers, which may include OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and others[cite: 51]. [cite_start]We implement data minimization techniques to send only the data necessary for the task[cite: 252].
  • [cite_start]
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party vendors for payment processing, cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure)[cite: 216], analytics, and other services necessary to operate our platform. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.

  • The Co-Creation Community: If you choose to share your personas or workflows in the public marketplace, other users will be able to view and use that content[cite: 126, 127].
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our users.

4. Data Security
